YOU NEED A LITTLE IGNORANCE TO START WORKING ON AN IDEA. The fact that you don’t know what’s coming is in your favor.
In the beginning, you dream about every possibility. It feels so real. It’s only when you start experiencing reality that your ambition gets crushed.
The true test of passion is judged by your reaction to roadblocks. Some people give up all together. Others work around challenges or blend their learnings into an alternative direction.
The whole purpose of starting is to put the bones in the goose, to evolve, to strengthen mind and body to deal with CRAP (Criticism, Rejection, Assholes, and Prejudice).
Don’t quit. Keep pushing for success, even if it takes you 20 years. Rarely do you start something and get exactly what you envision.
So start with a blank state and leverage your overall passion and curiosity to build out an idea. By being flexible and open many other opportunities will come your way. That’s when you have to get good at saying no.
