When you follow people who are richer or more successful than you are, or have more interesting lives, or have the things you want, it sucks.

Last night I followed the US men’s soccer game on Twitter because it wasn’t on TV. Even if it had been I was watching the NBA Finals anyway so Twitter would’ve still been my main source for second screen updates.
Twitter has the makings of news publication and sports channel. It won’t be long before it owns content rights exclusively.
A few years ago I was so sure that Twitter would be competing with news orgs that I urged them to start their own realtime networks to compete with Twitter. Just in case I’m right.
