Leron Carson – Lemonline

‘Lemonline’ is not a new production. Chicago House producer Leron Carson (RIP) made the track in 1987. But it’s finally getting a proper release roughly two decades later thanks to Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature label.

It’s a proper old school groove. Also be sure to check out ‘China Trax’ from the classic 1987 EP.

Joakuim – Desire

Joakuim is an electronic producer from Marseille, France. He apparently spent some time in Mexico City where some friends introduced him to the liquid drum n bass sounds of Alix Perez and Lenzman. The influence is evident, while he’s personalized his vibe with smooth-house touches.

Check out his newest track ‘Desires,’ now a free download via UK-based label Deep Heads.

Greymatter is Brighton-based electronic producer Graham Luckhurst. After a two-year hiatus of being “pigeonholed into deep house,” he’s back with his new album No Blood Without on his very own label Unique Uncut.

You can cop the broken beat single ‘Clocks’ now on Bandcamp. Expect to hear more of these beat-breaking skills.

German electronic artist Orson Wells ‘Blend’ provides a flashback to early 1990s Prodigyesque techno, with a proper step toward vibrating house music. According to the Bandcamp page, the album artwork is a hodgepodge of stickers “found in car liveries.”

Chaos In The CBD – Subterranean Storm

House bros (image via Facebook)

New Zealand brothers Ben & Louis Helliker-Hales are Chaos In The CBD. Their newest EP dropped earlier this week on the Japanese imprint Mule Music.

The track ‘Subterranean Storm,’ also the name of the record, continues to showcase the group’s mastery of producing soothing and restrained deep house music.

I highly recommend digging through the duo’s Soundcloud page and listening to the group’s other Balearic delights such as the jazz-infused tracks 78 to Stanley Bay, Midnight in Peckham, and Trust is Key.
